It is used in the production of potable alcohol and also as a solvent and reactant in the pharmaceutical industry and as a carrier of flavour and fragrances. In the flavors and fragrance industry, dilute ethanol is used to produce distilled vinegar, flavour extracts and concentrates for soft drinks and food products
Rectified Spirit (RS) 94% - 96%
This is a non-denatured industrial alcohol has applications in the personal care industry, paints, coatings, printing inks, fragrance and flavor industries. Distilled white vinegar is made from dilute ethyl alcohol which has an infinite number of end uses. Used in fragrance, flavor, paint, coating, printing and ink applications. It is also used in the production of personal care products such as creams, body wash, mouth wash, hair sprays, astringents, colognes and perfumes. It is also extensively used as a solvent and preservative in pharmaceutical preparations.
Ethanol 99% - 99.99%
Alcohol production is a mature industry with potable alcohol being produced by conventional fermentation process. The choice of raw material differs from region to region, but generally, alcohol is made from carbohydrate containing agricultural product like grain, potato, sugarcane, molasses and fruits. With the increased emphasis on reduction of greenhouse gases, alcohol is now also mandated for blending in fuels. Enzymes play a major role in improving the efficiency of the fermentation process resulting in higher yields, reduced waste and lower raw material costs.
